Album Info:The station and campus layout were designed by Richard Montfort, chief engineer of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, and built in 1900 to serve the passengers of the eight railroads that provided service to the city. A spectacular restoration of the headhouse as an upscale hotel has worked out well. Plus a little CSX action on the freight side that remains active.
