ERIE C254 and I shared some great experiences. |
Description: |
Saw my only Northern Lights from her back porch, also a field so full of fireflies that my flagman and I agreed that we had never seen anything like it. Or the night that my flagman was very much in mortal danger for fooling with another man's wife. However the jealous husband had been drinking and fell asleep while waiting to catch them together. It's awesome that she survived Conrail's purge of all things EL. Thank you Rochester & Genesee Railroad Museum for adopting her. A further point of interest is that for most of her tenure on that local, she was being pulled by an Alco S2. |
