The sun is setting on the Fayette Central's third run of the day, and on this railroad in general. A month of special Santa Claus trains will close out the era of the Fayette Central's vintage passenger trains on the former B&O Sheepskin Branch. The train is seen pausing here for a photo-op on the Greene Junction Bridge over the tranquil waters of the Youghiogheny River. This photo has been published in the February 2013 issue of Railpace Magazine. |

Santa Likes Trains Too |
Description: |
On passenger car PESX 5061 on the Fayette Central Railroad. I am posting this photo in remembrance of all the victims of the recent school shooting in Newport, CT, who will not be around to see Santa Claus this year or to receive the gifts their families bought for them. I hope the coming year will bring more peace and kindness to our world. |
