Last shot of the day, the moon is rising over Bureau Jct. This was a major jct for the Rock Island and still an important location on the Iowa Interstate. The mainline to Blue Island curves to the left while the Peoria line curves to the right. The signal bridge is a reminant of the C.T.C. the Rock used through here on its double trck main line. |
