SP RSD12 2967 |
Description: |
Espee RSD12 2967 and C630 3143 were on a short transfer run en route from the railroad's tiny Three Oaks Yard in Chalmette to its big yard at Avondale. Three Oaks Yard served the American Sugar Company's Chalmette Refinery, and this is reflected in the train's consist; the first car is a Domino Sugar tank car and most of the cars are Airslide sugar hoppers. The train is running over the Southern Railway's BACK BELT at Labarre Road. |
