Description:  This road warrior was delivered to Southern Pacific as SD45 9018 in March 1969 and entered the SP shops for rebuilding emerging as SD45R 7530 in November 1984. By this date both 7530 and Southern Pacific have fallen on hard times as evidenced by the filthy appearance, different numberboard fonts, and dented plow. This locomotive would be rebuilt again moving to Brasil and becoming MRS Logistica SD40-3MP 5311.

Description:  This 113 car coal train came through Hoffman Av with a real surprise-a CLEAN SP unit in the middle of a three unit set. This is the best looking SP power I have ever seen. That's Dayton's Bluff in the background. There's a park on top of the bluff which has a great view of the St Paul skyline and the action along the river.
