Title:  CP 4-6-4 #2861 - Canadian Pacific
Description:  Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in June of 1940, this sleek, streamlined 4-6-4 Hudson served in express passenger service for the CP in the far western area near Vancouver, BC. After only 17 years of service, the loco met up with the scrapper's torch in July of 1957. Specs - H1e class, 75" drivers, 275 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt of 366,000 lb and tractive effort of 45,254 lb. This is a Wm E. Paul photo.

CP 4-6-4 #2864 - Canadian Pacific
Title:  CP 4-6-4 #2864 - Canadian Pacific
Description:  Bearling the royal crown insignia demoting the status of a Royal Hudson, this gleaming streamlined 4-6-4 Hudson was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in June of 1940. This would be the last 4-6-4 built for the CP roster. It served in the western provinces as part of express prassenger service until being retired and scrapped in February of 1960. Specs - H1e class, 75" drivers, 275 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt of 366,000 lb and tractive effort of 45,254 lb.
