This concrete structure was opened to traffic on 2 August 1967, and replaced an old wooden trestle. That trestle had been severely damaged by HURRICANE BETSY in 1965 and was subsequently repaired, but it needed to be replaced. (approximate date) |

CSX abandoned a large portion of this route in the late 1980s. |
