The move is taking place as part of a loan agreement between MOT and VMT to return the engine to its home territory. The locomotive is pictured here in the pouring rain as the train waited for a signal at Maplewood on the UP Jefferson City Subdivision. The train included support cars from VMT and NS and a crew to jnspect the locomotive during the trip. |
