Description:  A close-up look at the numbers reveals a hidden history of LLPX 2338. The UP shield is just peaking out under the LLPX patch. According to other websites, this engine, with serial number 7354-98, has a long history with several other railroads. On closer inspection of the number decals it can be seen where this engine once was UP 1969 and later UP 469. This engine was one of 61 units leased from Locomotive Leasing Partners in the late 90's. They were painted in UP colors and renumbered UP 1910 through UP 1970. The engines were all originally Penn Central units built in the early 80's. In the early 2000's 53 units were renumbered to the 400 series numbers with LLPX 2338 being the last renumber at UP 469. In 2017 this unit runs for the Marquette Rail as MQT 2040.
