Picture from the early 1990s shows then standard power for the Kyle RR owned EARY with its rebuilt GP units. |
Description: |
The intraprlant switcher in the background is Georgia Marble #3 (under Imerys Pigments, Inc.) in Jay Reed's CGTIL where it's listed as an 80 ton Davenport (3344, 10/52), ex-Budd Co. #3, nee-USA #1621. There is a photo of it as USA #1621 (where it's called a 65 tonner) on page MISC-372 of the Kalmbach Diesel Spotters Guide, second edition (1973). Thanks to MSW for information. |
