Top Photo: LIRR engine #7 is a G-54SA (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1902. Middle Photo: LIRR engine #1 is an E-51SA (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built by Baldwin in 1901. Bottom Photo Caption: "No. 118, one of the Long Island's Class H-10s, the heaviest steam engines on the road." Engine #118 is an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by Baldwin as PRR number "8527" during December of 1913 and renumbered "118" upon delivery to the LIRR in June of 1929. |
