LV 4-6-0 #127, "Springfield" - Lehigh Valley |
Description: |
Here is a rare Baldwin builder's photo of Lehigh Valley 4-6-0 ten wheeler #127 named "Springfield" built in Juily of 1869. Due to the limitations of the RRPA data base, the date has to be listed as 1/1/1900 instead of the correct 7/1869. The loco was rebuilt in June of 1881, possibly with a different wheel configuration. The loco was gone by 1905. This appears to be an extremely old reprint of the original builder's photo. |
