SOU #2422 LAKE PEARL
Description:
SOU Pullman heavyweight 10 section-1 compartment-2 drawing room (10S-1C-2DR) sleeper #2422 LAKE PEARL (Lot #4725, Plan #3585, October 1923), built for assignment to the SUNSET LIMITED, sold to the SOU at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture, to NS via merger in June 1982, used regularly on steam excursions, donated in 1986 to the Virginia Museum of Transportation. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate 35mm slide, brand is unknown. Date, location, and photographer are unknown.
