A unit coal train out of the Powder River Basin for some Mid-American Energy power plant someplace in Iowa. If anyone has any information or just wants to post their favorite lines from Marx Brothers movies (or the Karl Marx's Big Book of Fun (a.k.a. Das Kapital) let me know). All I know is that this train was loaded with coal and headed southwest from Clinton, Iowa. Also it was coming in a direction that it was backlit and I thought that this angle would be better than trying to shoot directly into the sun (which is rather bad for one's eyes). In the afternoon, this would be a great photo spot - I like the angle and the old factory and trees provide a backdrop |
