| Gornegrat Station on August 9 - the view of the Matterhorn is perfect when the clouds dissipate. The frequency of clouds among the high peaks makes it difficult to get a clear view in the higher elevations. We never saw the top of the Matterhorn on our first visit to Zermatt but experienced several crystal clear days at other times. |
