| The WST is now seen pulling around the east leg of the NS Wye. The track in Maryland is still owned and operated by Norfolk Southern as the Williamsport Industrial Track, but they still don't go any faster than 10! Back in the older days, the PRR/PC maintained an engine servicing area, that once even boasted a roundhouse, in the middle of this wye before traffic patterns shifted and they consolidated operations with the N&W at their Vardo Yard, which is NS's current Hagerstown operation base, and where the Virginia and Harrisburg Divisions come together. |
