I'm convinced beyond reasonable doubt this car was originally the MILW's "Wisconsin", It was one of 3 streamlined MILW office cars "Wisconsin", "Milwaukee" and "Montana". MILW sold the "Milwaukee" and "Montana" in the 1970s, retaining the "Wisconsin" as their sole office car. In the late-1970s the "Wisconsin" was renamed "Stanley E.G. Hillman", then in 1984 renamed again "Milwaukee" (the 2nd MILW office car to carry that name). After the SOO takeover the 2nd-Milwaukee (former "Wisconsin") was repainted and renamed "SOO LINE". Recent photo documentation of the "Wisconsin" seems vary rare. Of the other 2 MILW office cars, the "Montana" does not match the window pattern of the car in this photo. The other car, the original "Milwaukee" eventually was repainted and named Frisco "Bluebonnet" and is currently in Mpls as NSRX 900101, still in the Frisco "Bluebonnet" paint scheme.
