AMTK 271 at the butting block. Steam escaping from a steam line ruined the picture a little. Of course there are no steam lines anymore. Taken          
I believe this shot may have been taken in 1977 at Washington Union Station. I placed my camera on the butting block and took the photo and was promptly told to get off the track and back on the platform by a station supervisor. He also wanted to take my camera until my boss explained we were a small group of Amtrak employees.
