PRR "World Famous Horseshoe Curve," Page 19, 1973         
Here is page 19 of a 64-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "World Famous Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Pennsylvania Railroad." It was first issued in September of 1973. Pictured at the left is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #615, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata in October of 1915 and retired in January of 1950. Pictured at the right is PRR engine #6408, a J-1A (2-10-4) "Texas" built in Juniata in June of 1943 and retired in August of 1958.
