David Barrentine	General	I think they still have one or two customers on the line. They have two Bay Line loco's there the 2010, & 511. It's a shame they couldn't breath some life into that line. The new Gov said he's going to expand all Florida ports, who knows maybe St. Joe will become a port again.	1/6/2011 3:07:39 PM

Atlanta Rails	General	I certainly dont advocate scrapping it, but one must wonder why G&W even wanted this line, abandonment looks pretty likely, it was in the pits when I visted back in 2007 or so, but now even Arizona Chemical is gone. Michael Appleby	General	Back in 2010 i got shots of 511. I recently viewed the line at apalchiola, abandonment may be likely south of hosford FL. AN operates service to a plant in hosford.	3/28/2013 10:24:09 PM

Appalachicola Northern BAYL 511 - Nothing to do
This may be taken as a complete heresy by my railfan friends, but there appears that there is not enough traffic to keep the AN in operation. If nothing changes in the near future it needs to be scrapped out
