Union Pacific Railroad GP50 65 at Cotter, Arkansas on July 27, 1989, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 65 was built in January 1981 as MP GP50 3515 (c/n 807023-6), delivered in Jenks Blue paint. It was repainted in MP/UP yellow on July 19, 1984 and received the North Little Rock style Missouri Pacific lettering. On August 4, 1988 it was renumbered to 65 and received the standard Union Pacific lettering. It was renumbered to UP 975 on October 13, 1989, renumbered again to 5573 on December 18, 1997, renumbered again to 1673 on August 4, 2004. You figure it out from here. |
