Fred Stuckmann General No put down on any engine crew, but I often would go to another unit, many of the fellows smoked and I never did. 9/30/2011 8:30:30 AM
Tim Darnell General Maybe he was the smoker! 9/30/2011 11:06:39 AM
Olaf Junges General Nice catch, great photo! 10/1/2011 2:25:15 AM
John Danielson General Great shot! 10/1/2011 3:09:41 PM
Peter Hultgren General Another possibility for the isolated crew member is seating capacity in the lead locomotive. At one time NY law required an additional brakeman at the head end of a train. Maybe the lead locomotive had too few seats to accommodate this fellow. 2/6/2014 1:07:23 PM
Steve Coraggio General very nice shot of the crewman looking out the cab window. 6/19/2023 4:22:53 PM
