| Detroit Toledo & Ironton Railroad SD38's 251 and 253 on the L&N bridge at Cincinnati, Ohio on an unknown date, slide by Phil Ragland, Chuck Zeiler collection. Other than the location and photographer's name, the plastic slide mount was unmarked. Number 251 was built in July 1969 (c/n 34864), later becoming GTW 6251. The DT&I was acquired by the GTW in 1980, and based on the condition of the locomotive, I guestimated the date around the summer of 1975. |
