| The rebuild plate on former VRE V01 shows it being built in 1966 as a GP40 and being rebuilt in 1991 as a RP39-2C for use on the Virginia Rail Express. It is now owned by GWI, renumbered 2318, and used on their various lines in the Dothan AL area. |
