Sign in the diner being restored at Tifton GA indicates further work to be done. I am assuming from the sign that when completed the diner will be named "The Royal Palm" which obviously pays homage to the passenger train of the same name that passed thru Tifton on it's Midwest to Florida run. Anyone know if plans are to return the car to operable condition in excursion service or will it be a static display? |
