Built in 1948 by the MILW shops as a 30 seat parlor-5 seat DR, 1 of 8 such cars (#190-#197) built in that Lot, which was ordered in May 1947; cars were delivered between March and April 1948. The #191 was retired in 1971 and was later sold to Dakota Rail. The #191 is 1 of 3 MILW cars parked in a siding of Dick Samuels' Oregon Pacific RR yard at the UP interchange; the cars are also owned by Dick Samuels. Photographed from the NB #14 COAST STARLIGHT.
