| N&W 3725, ex-Wabash, was parked on a siding near downtown Monticello, IL on 7-22-1984. This view gives a close-up, in black-and-white, of the fireman's/brakeman's side of the cab, showing the (empty) numberboards, kick plates, broken glass in the door and window, and window shade. Not long afterwards, this unit was taken to the Monticello & Sangamon Valley museum and repair shop, then restored to operational status. |
