| This abandoned rice elevator was the final remaining industry on UP's Chesterville Industrial Lead, the last 8.3 miles of SP's Bellaire Subdivision (the rest of the line was abandoned in 2000). After this elevator stopped shipping by rail this line, a little more than 50 miles west of Houston, was wholly abandoned in 2008. |
