IC 3115         
CN local bisects the Appvion, Inc., formerly Appleton Papers, Inc., paper mill, and approaches N. Meade St. as it heads southwest via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 8 Jul. '17. Founded 13 May 1907 as the Appleton Coated Paper Co., it operated as such until it was acquired by the National Cash Register Co. in '70 and united with Combined Mills to form Appleton Papers, Inc., in '71. Numerous changes in ownership occurred over the years until the employees purchased the company in '00 and changed the name to Appleton in '03. The company adopted its current moniker on 13 May ’13. The facility has a spur on each side of the main line. Train was headed back toward Neenah.
