Harley. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Tom Harley that was taken in East Altoona, Pennsylvania, in June of 1951. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6704, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1930 and retired in June of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. Partially visible in the background is the East Altoona Coaling Tipple. |
