Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken near Mill Creek, Pennsylvania, on 23 July 1955. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9765 and three more "EF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9765 is an EF-15A constructed in January of 1951. In this context, this A-B-B-A set is rockin' 'n' rollin' on the high iron!
