| Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in South Amboy, New Jersey, during July of 1966. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #8529 and #8524. Both are ES-12M switchers built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,200 horsepower each. #8529 was built in March of 1953, while #8524 was constructed in December of 1952. ("Tchowee"; #28 of 36) |
