On an unknown date around 1970 Kansas City Southern power was tying on to a northbound train in WEST YARD, just west of New Orleans. The locomotives were F7A number 90 with F3B units 50C, 30B and 57B. The little shelter on the right contained a control panel for throwing switches. (approximate date of photo) |
