Fuselages for Boeing airliners are a common load on BNSF trains in the Seattle area. Each fuselage is over 90 feet long, so each fuselage requires a spacer car behind it. The large metal fixture on one end of the flatcar acts as a bulkhead, preventing the fuselages from smashing into each other. Still frame from original video. |
