Duplexes. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide showing Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5529, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1945 and retired in December of 1953 after just eight years of revenue service. In this context, it's ready to depart the Harrisburg Station with a passenger train bound for Altoona and points West. All ABOARD! The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded.
