Duplexes. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide depicting two Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives. At the left is an unidentified T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex." At the right is PRR engine #6707, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1930 and retired in January of 1954. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (Gift from Brad Mann.) |
