Originally Illinois Central 88 seat coach #2221 (Pullman 1918, Lot #4519, Plan #6-B-90, IC Specification P114), renumbered 2904 when a Pullman mechanical AC system and an upgraded interior with seating for 82 was installed at Burnside Shops (Chicago) in 1951. Renumbered 2821 in 1952. Moved into Maintenance of Way service by IC before being sold into private ownership. Acquired by SLRG from Ozark Mountain Railcar in 2013. Bought at auction by Reading & Northern 2021 with full HEP conversion including generator Length 81'- Width 10'-Height 14' weight 148880 lbs. |
