Keokuk Junction Railway - KJRY 1752 - The FP9A was built in 1955 for the Canadian National as 6511 and later part of VIA Rail. After it was retired it has bounced around short lines and scenic routes from the Algoma Central, to the Peoria Western Railway (PWRY), the Pioneer Rail Equipment (PREX) and the Keokuk Junction Railway (KJRY). The unit seen here hitching a ride on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. to its new destination at the Ohio River Scenic Railroad after being sold in late March of this year. |
