BNSF Train M-NOHO
BNSF train H-NOHO (New Orleans-Houston) was heading west over the New Orleans Public Belt, between the French Quarter (on the left) and the Mississippi River. The two streetcar tracks had previously belonged to the Southern Pacific (on the left) and the CSX. The train had originated at the CSX’s GENTILLY YARD with GP35’s 2870, 2951 and no cars, and was heading for home rails at the west end of the Huey P. Long Bridge. Along the way, it would pick up five cars at the NOPB’s COTTON WAREHOUSE YARD.
