Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7977, a B-6S (0-6-0) switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as B-6 number "8977" during June of 1913, renumbered "7977" in 1917, rebuilt in Juniata as a B-6S in November of 1926, and retired in April of 1953 after 40 years of faithful service. The names of the photographer and of the Engineman pictured here, as well as the exact date and the location, are not recorded. Williams Collection. |
