Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8216, a B-6S (0-6-0) switcher built by the Lima Locomotive Works as a B-6 during November of 1913, rebuilt in Juniata as a B-6S in August of 1927, and retired in March of 1952 after 39 years of faithful service. The external damage to the cylinder housing suggests that it had a minor altercation of some sort. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection. |
