| Built by Alco-Schenectady in September of 1909, this 2-8-0 Consolidation #52 served the Western Pacfific until retirement and scrapping in March of 1950. Specs - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt of 203,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,305 lb. The photo was taken by Anderson. No location or date was given but it appears to be in a scrap line since it's missing its headlight, front numberboard and bell. |
