PRR 5434, K-4S, 1937         
Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on 16 May 1937. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5434, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1927 and retired in March of 1950 after 23 years of faithful service. At the far right, note the presence of one of the PRR's four streamlined "Pacifics." Gary Mittner Collection.
