Amtrak Express Receding
#30's express continues west on the NS Chicago Line - at MP 503 - through this fascinating industrial area in Indiana Harbor. She's about to pass beneath a vintage PC-era bridge on approach to the Indiana Harbor Ship Canal. The canal bridges and the Hick interlocking tower are visible in the near distance.

Mike Brotzman General That signal bridge is not NYC vintage. It was installed in the Penn Central era. 10/28/2007 10:17:06 PM
