Working at Croxton |
Description: |
The early years saw activity at a number of yards that would ultimately see downgrades or elimination. The Erie Lackawanna was not an important part of the final CR plan, and much of it was abandoned on the west end. Even the east end saw drastic reductions in traffid, though in 1980 it was still possible to see some activity at Croxton, once ELs main New Jersey terminal, though most traffic had shifted to Oak Island |

SW 1500 and a retiree |
Description: |
Conrails SW 1500s were still quite active all over the system in 1985, but the U30s and GP 30s were on the way out. We see a U30B and a partial view of a GP 30-hows that get to Selkirk??-at the shop. |
