PRR 4914, GG-1, 1965 |
Description: |
WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train from North Philadelphia to Harrisburg during August of 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #4914, a GG-1 built in Juniata during June of 1942. It is pulling a passenger train from Harrisburg to Philadelphia and points East. Both trains are moving at around 60 miles per hour. Zoom-Zoom! |
