Burlington Northern Railroad SD9 6140 at Clyde, Illinois on an unknown day in April 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in March 1954 as CB&Q SD9 338 (c/n 18997) on EMD Order 5313, it became BN 6140 and was retired in July 1985. It shows evidence of a steam generator.
