Southern Railway FP7's |
Description: |
Seventeen of the Southern Railway's 20 FP7 units (6130-6149) were parked in Atlanta's SOUTH YARD, across the Atlanta-Macon-Jacksonville main line from the railroad's PEGRAM SHOPS. Two more units, in green, were outside of the shop to the right of this image, and the 20th unit was parked at INMAN YARD. Most of these units were retired in 1979 and traded-in to EMD. |
