| The nicely maintained MP depot at Fredericktown MO; which was located at MP104.4 on the Belmont branch. The size of the station belies the point that passenger service was never really relevent here; even by WWII there was only a daily mixed on the line between Bismarck and Charleston; by 1955 the route was listed as 'freight only'. As of 1973 the town was located on the Charleston Subdivision of the Arkansas Division; the tracks were abandoned in 1974. |
